Mother Membrane | Water-Resistant, 7 Color LED, Gaming Keyboard
$41.99 $34.99
Mother Membrane is silent, water resistant, and epic. We created custom keycaps with a clean, minimal font. We decided to shy away from the over-the-top gamer style as far as the icons go as well. Lastly, we have 7-color LEDs, media keys, and a lock key for the start button.

The Mother Membrane is a great keyboard for its price.
Membrane keyboards are, quality of typing wise, all over the place. We’ve all used them – some only register keys when you push down dead-center and some are so wobbly and require no force at all to be pushed down. This one is pretty damn good for a membrane keyboard.
The Mother Membrane has got 2 additional features I really like, the hardware key lock (FN + F11) and the multi-media keys that work out of the box on KDE 5 and probably most other Linux desktop environments.
Compared to the Fenek Standard Issue Mouse, this keyboard doesn’t seem to retain its color setting. It’s not a big deal, you can plug it into an always-on port or just press the key-combo to switch back to the color you want. That’s the only nitpick I have.

Great keyboard for gaming and not bad for programming either. Only qualm is that it’s US layout which is more an issue of my geography rather than the keyboard itself 😉 I can also testify that the waterproofing works well, as I accidentally spilt some green tea on it and it survived. Keys have a good feel and a nice response. The lighting looks great and matches perfectly with my Fenek standard issue mouse. Like I say perfect for gaming and only beaten by my mechanical keyboard which is 3 times the price!
